Checking on Tidio? There are some cheaper options

What users say about Tidio:

- Very easy to learn
- Provides real-time support to customers
- Many improvements left to be made
- Terrible speed causes delay in responses
It is a system that seems good, but in fact can do with many improvements. It should be more technically advanced and have less glitches. There are better systems out there.
Tidio is very easy for anyone to learn. I like how it also provides real-time support to customers.
It is terrible for speed as it takes quite some time to seem to "think". This causes a delay in responses.

- Bad customer support
- SEO and loading speed issues
At first they had fast support but not they no longer offer chat support. Even their bot is useless. All it does is have you wait after you spam it then it gives you an email to send a support ticket. So much for having a usefull chat support.
We've been using Tidio for over a 2 years now and just now we noticed that its harming our site. We started to do some SEO work and noticed our loading speeds were so mad and one of the bigges problems was the Tidio. After contacting support they just suggested and kept saying its not them and to ignore the issue.
I talked to Piotr, Customer Experience Specialist and failed to provide any solution to this problem. Also had to find out the hard way about this problem. They know about it but don't tell their customers. What kind of a business is this? Use our product but by the way your loading speeds are going to tank. I even provided screenshots of before and after. With Tidio on our site it averages a speedo of 50-56 and once we removed it it jumped to 79-84. BIG difference for something they want us to ignore. So if you don't care about ranking or loading speeds then go for it.
- Good for managing chats and automating basic conversations
- Integrates well with most websites
- The interface is clean, easy to get started with
- Ongoing development of AI features
- The cost is on the higher side
- AI options are promising, but currently still quite basic
- Sometimes the bots struggle with more complex queries
Helpful tool, but still has room for improvement.
Tidio is a really handy tool for managing customer chats and automating basic conversations. The interface is clean, easy to get started with, and it integrates well with most websites. What I also appreciate is the ongoing development of AI features - they might still be limited, but it's clear that the platform is trying to stay ahead and make them better over time. For someone looking for a quick chat solution with some automation, it definitely saves a lot of manual work.
What holds me back a bit is the pricing. Compared to some alternatives, it feels like the cost is on the higher side, especially when you need more advanced features. Also, while the AI options are promising, they are currently still quite basic, and sometimes the bots struggle with more complex or nuanced queries. I'd love to see faster improvements in that area to make the AI assistance feel more natural and reliable.

- A lot of features
- Wordpress and Facebook Business integration
- Nice user interface
- CRM functions with e-mail
- High prices
- Terrible mobile app
- Inhonest business practices
Tidio worked great until they doubled their prices in Dec 2024.
We used Tidio for over 6 years in conjunction with our tourism website. We set up flows for FAQ and bots to collect people's contact information before an operator could take over. We shared the operator responsibility between three people which was nice.
Unfortunately in December of 2024 Tidio changed their pricing structure and our bill doubled from $32 a month to $64 a month. This included some kind of promotion because the package we were being migrated to was actually $100 a month! Our credit card was auto charged. Unfortunately we can't recommend a company that does a bait and switch like this as well as auto charging customers with such an extreme rate hike without notice. On a side note their android mobile app never really worked well and we missed many visitor chats on the mobile app.
Tidio integrates with WordPress and Facebook business very nicely it also provides CRM function with email.
Bad pricing, terrible mobile app and inhonest business practices.
