3 smart ways to use ChatGPT in Smartsupp that will save you hours of work
)
It has been three months since I got excited about ChatGPT and started testing what it can do intensively. And since I also work as a product manager at Smartsupp, it did not take long before I started looking at how ChatGPT could help our customers.
The result is 3 practical examples 💪 that you can pick up easily, that will simplify the way you use Smartsupp and that will save you hours of time.
Take a look at our new AI conversational chatbot as well.
1. Generating engaging welcome messages
A well-written welcome message in an online store catches the visitor's attention, makes a good first impression and so contributes to a higher conversion rate. But good copy does not write itself – creating it often takes considerable effort and a lot of time. Luckily for us, we have AI. 🤓
For a great opening message that will speak to more than one visitor, use the following prompt. Play with the instructions in the brackets and watch the results.
PROMPT
Write a [catchy, concise and slightly informal] welcome message that a chatbot
will use to address visitors to an online store.
[Use emoji.]
Keep it short, [200] characters at most.
The goal is to catch the visitor's attention and get them to talk to an agent on
live chat, or to buy straight away.

Shortcuts are an elegant way to handle a flood of customer questions and they save you from typing the same answers over and over. Instead of working out what to reply to a user again and again, you send a predefined shortcut in one click and you are done.
The trouble is that creating shortcuts can swallow a lot of precious time and energy. Let us make it simpler. We paste the text of a page into ChatGPT and the AI writes the shortcuts for us in an instant.
It can be a returns page, terms and conditions and so on.
PROMPT
In the following text from an online store page, find the related categories and
turn them into shortcuts (quick answers to frequent questions) that a chat agent
can send to a visitor. Write each shortcut concisely, but stay empathetic.

Guaranteeing good customer support is no easy task. It seems almost impossible to keep track of every conversation your agents have and make sure it was handled well.
With the right tool for analysing conversations, that no longer has to be such a puzzle.
Say goodbye to long reading sessions. Try pasting a conversation into ChatGPT and have it analysed in a second.
PROMPT
Determine the tone of the following conversation and write a summary of it.
